    Check the voltage. You need 12v on. If not, it’s not getting power from the relay. Burnt wire? Broken? All that…..check close to relay to power to bulb wire and from turn signal to fuse, to relay etc.

    Did you swap them to led? You’ll need a different flasher relay. Typical relays won’t operate properly with low voltage leds. Atcar asked if you eliminated the ground wire to the harness? Try harness ground to frame with the lights ground to same location with harness ground.

    Comp test…..Wet test. Without oil in the cyl, get reading. Then add couple squirts and get reading. No change? It’s up top.     Torque converter locking/unlocking?

    I went through 10 TPS sensors to fix it. When it’s in od and catches up with the TPS voltage and throttle position, the computer turns off OD lock up. Step on it a Little, you can feel and hear it go in lock up. If that’s what you have happening, get a test or volt meter.

    Some wires are different to and from the ecm for the 5.2 to 5.9 swap. Also, line up the Distributor as exactly on the line for #1. These are nonadjustable so the syncing must be set as close to 1 as possible.

    intermittent ac compressor clutch

    A lot of pinched wires will break on an old wire harness but give enough reading to show 12v. Cut’em, patch in new, solder and shrink with marine glue lined heat shrink.
