My 2002 sits most of the time (farm truck) and I have a battery tender mounted under the hood with a port through the wheel well for the 120v extension cord. I have used these extensively for motorcycles and lawn mowers. They do work and I think it's better for the battery, unless while in...
I have a brand new Iphone (work issued, else it would be an Android) and it gets hot to the touch even in an otterbox case using the truck's wireless. Never have that on my wireless charger at home. I don't know if it should do that or not.
Where are you looking for the widget? There is a button on the left side of the steering wheel that will pop up a whole new screen on the dash. This can be customized to show all the gauges you want to see...oil pressure, tire pressure, voltage, etc.
It may be a function of the volume on the phone, rather than on the truck. Next time you play a message on your phone, adjust the volume on the phone instead of trying to on the truck. Sometimes, the notification of the phone has a different volume setting than the actual message playback.
Although it is the E-torque, I am glad I got one of the last Hemi's. Sounds like they're doing the same thing as they did with the Jeeps. Yank out a great engine (I-6) and put a minivan engine into it. It's all about the money and building stuff that won't last. Keeps them in business.
Quite the dilemma there. Some questions...How often will you pull the boat? Will the boat be kept at a dock once near water? Could you get one of your neighbors to haul it to the dock? May be able to keep your perfect 2017 after all.
I have only had mine for a couple of months and I didn't think I would like the auto-shutoff feature at first. It is super smooth starting up. I don't even really notice it any more. I like the fact that I am saving a little fuel when sitting at a red light.
In addition, I carry zero deductible comp insurance. Covers theft...including items in the truck. I think I would rather it get stolen and never found than to have it beat up with someone trying to get into it and not be successful. Will the anti-theft device manufacturer cover damages from...
Have been carrying zero deductible comprehensive insurance since owning a Jeep Wrangler...to include a Subaru Outback. Both of which seemed to have rock catcher windshields. It was not necessarily a commercial vehicle throwing rocks, just cars on the freeway. The Subie was $1400 per and...
Got the Lock'r Down console vault installed. Kind of a pain to install, but it's in. Ordered the one with the electronic keypad. Also tried placing an NRA Life member magnet on the tail gate. Apparently the new tail gates are non-magnetic (aluminum, I'm guessing), so had to order a new...
I have owned several models of vehicles where you could choose how the reverse camera guidelines operate / display. I am wondering if there is a way to change the guidelines so they do NOT curve back and forth when I turn the steering wheel when backing. I would like for them to remain...
Peaky thing called work prevented me from parking at dealership this morning. Already called and have appointment. Good advice regarding recording it. Thanks!
I did a quick search and didn't see this topic. If it has already been addressed, please point me in the right direction. I have a 2023 Limited 1500 and was driving in wet conditions at highway speed. I tried shifting from 2WD to 4WD Auto by pressing the button, and the 4WD auto button would...
