    Engine bay detail

I did exactly that, after 10 years and 107,000 miles she was looking dusty. I used the low pressure green tire cleaner solution, let it sit a minute, then the foaming brush on the high spots, then a low pressure rinse. Avoided the battery cover and hood "carpet". All done while idling. I...

    Firestone Destination ls3 Tires

I'm 67 and never once owned any set of Firestone tires, but, I can't recall anyone ever saying anything bad about the Destination Series, on any forum, going back decades. Something to be said for that I guess!

Yikes. Looks like it's time to have a word with your dealer.

Not a problem. The geniuses will simply continue to increase state taxes to cover the losses from those who have left.

23 2500 6.4 hemi tick? Dealer says they can’t hear it.

Please clarify - are you saying both are dry inside or out?

For the guys who think deactivating the mds via a tune is a good idea

Indeed! Upgraded exhaust and stereo sounds like a pretty awesome package deal!

I don't know what, if anything, changed from 2014 to 2023 but I currently have the RP 20-820 in my 5.7L 4x4. My local shop did the oil change but it sure looks roomy down there.

    Fuel Gauge Help

Sounds like a really big coincidence to have the fuel sensor or gauge fail at this exact time, however, the gauge in my 2014 showed "E" out of nowhere one day, and it stayed there. My dealer said the sensor and pump are 2 separate units and it was my sensor that tested bad, so they replaced it...

23 2500 6.4 hemi tick? Dealer says they can’t hear it.

@Jamesg0418 you said you ordered RP 20-820 filter(s). I don't have a 6.4L but I thought I remembered reading that folks have a really tough time getting the 20-820 to fit that engine. Instead they run the RP 20-500. It is still larger than OEM size but instead of being wider than OEM it is...

    Synthetic Oil

Me too. I just ordered a 6-pack + 2 quarts for my next OCI, to go along with one of my RP20-820 filters. 6-pack was $85 delivered. All 8 quarts were $132.05 including Pennsylvania sales tax. I'm figuring my next OCI will be this May or June depending on mileage. I want to get a sample of...

Gasoline - Top Tier for 2024

The closest Shell to me is a 45 mile round trip. I could use Exxon but I would have to drive past 2 separate Sunoco stations at less than 1/2 the distance, so I've been using the Sunoco 91. I'm glad I'm retired and my annual mileage is slight, because 89 octane is well over $4/gal and 91 is...

No rear driver side running light

Cool, sounds pretty thorough, to me at least but remember I'm feeble. I don't have the details you've asked for but I will add this for your consideration. Quite a few folks here have had weird lighting issues resolved by identifying a problem with a socket, so there's that remote possibility...

No rear driver side running light

First, I'm not a mechanic, although I used to do almost all my own work, before I got old and feeble. I worked 40 years as an electronics technician, and the technician in me is wondering... 1. Are you talking about the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), or the BCM (Body Control Module)...

Found this Dodge panel truck in Tombstone Arizona

I don't know about the undercarriage but I'm not seeing much, if any, rust through. Body metal was thicker then, and it may well be that it spent it's life in AZ. That thing is begging to be restored.

    Oil Filter Thread

No idea, I only found them from a link posted by another member here. I verified the filter with a search-by-vehicle on the Royal Purple site first. I looked around a little, it seems they have very little variety, just wiper blades and RP products? Seems weird but it works, and quickly too!
