I thought all brands have this feature, but can’t say for sure.
Looked it up and and found Chrysler does not have this. In a rollover the fuel pump will lock up, but no switch, pump has to be replaced. Imho, replacing fuel pump wasn’t a bad call.
The only way to get a buy out is to use lemon laws and your way past that option. Ram cares can’t help with buy out. RAM cares might be able to help with a loaner and expedite getting parts, but they can only do so much.

I was asking as my 15 Jeep wrangler is nearing 150000 miles no issues so far. With the price of wranglers now, guess I’ll have to look at other options when the time comes.
