Hello- hoping this is the right spot for this post. I've got a 2007 1500 SLT. Over the past 9 months I've had about 3 or 4 instances where I'll drive somewhere and then when leaving the truck won't start. It clicks, but doesn't stutter or try to turn over. Most recently, it stranded me and I put 2 different jump boxes on it as well as a cable jump and no luck. Had it towed home and changed the starter while the battery was on charger and it fired right up. Drove it for 2 days no problems. Came home today, it sat for an hour, no start, same click. Jump box ineffective. Sat for 15 min, started right up. A friend mentioned the relay might be shot and that a full TIPM replacement might be needed. Does this sound right, and is it doable DIY? Any help is appreciated, I'm supposed to be moved out in 2 weeks and not having my truck is really monkeywrenching things for me. Thanks in advance folks.
