My buddy wanted a old school fuel tank and mount !!!

Got lots done today, Fingers crossed engine is all together tomorow
And I found an s10 gas tank for 50$, No need for a fuel cell now.

Today was great. Watched the eclipse and motor is ready to drop in.

My buddy gave me a coupe air horns and tank he had kicking around, will use that old chain to make the air tank mounts.

Bicycle inner tubes make good isolaters,as that chain will wear through a light duty tank fairly quick,been there/done that,lol

Chain is getting welded on the tank . No movement that way. LoL

I was beginning to think you were ill or something.
I was so used to see at least 1 post each week, i almost felt deprived

Been dealing with medical issues. And took a 3 week vacation.

Started dealing with the few rust spots caused by the mice nests that were allover this pig.

So glad I have a spare cab to get the missing metal from. There's no way in hell I could fab up therlse round pieces.

More hole fixing today, And fixed the huge 1" dent from the door stop being broken.

Both rockers were rusted thru. Had to rebuild the interior structure. That sucked all the ***** today.

Tomorrow is the front fenders, Need to move the wheel well hole forward 2" to clear the dodge wheels " lol. good thing I have a set of spares to cut up...

And to think, when I was a kid I didn't even have the patience to build plastic model cars and airplanes.

Deled the bumper mounts and the hole for the crank start.

Fitting the original clutch and brake pedals is a PITA , Had to heavily modify my bell housing mount. Now I need to make a couple of gussets to tie it all back together.

Oh Hell yeah, Today was extremely productive. Will be nice to finally build a simple bracket tommorow for the master cylinder

Gas pedal mount has seen better days... lol...

I rather lick glass out of a dead hookers ******* over welding on old **** like this. But its not like I can order a new one... lol..
