I've got a lowered 2017 ram 1500, it's 2in front and 4 back. I was wondering what the maximum rim/wheel size I could fit without cutting anything. I've got 17s right now but I'd like to go bigger

You should be able to get away with a 33 inch tire. You might have occasional rubbing at high speed or on big dips. Probably front on inner fenders, also depending on shocks.

Between a 32 and 33 inch tire would be optimal if you don't want any rubbing. And don't want to worry about it.

You can figure out tire/rim size from there.

I'm 4 down in the front 32s rub at high speed and on big dips. A 31 inch tire eliminated the problem.

I run a 295 / 45 / 20 which is about 30.5" on the front and a 305 / 50 /20 on the rear which is roughly a 32" tall tire on my 2 /4 dropped 4X4 . No front diff or CV's is why i can get away with a staggered size on a 4X4.

Lets just say it's stock, lol. It gives Hellcats fits at the track ,easily beats a 707/717 Kitty on a drag radial or slick through the 1/8th,and if they're on the ball they might catch it by the top of the 1/4.:Big Laugh:
I'd post a video of it up against a Hellcat, but i don't know how to get it on here, and i have no clue of how to get the video onto YT  If you're on facebook i can post a video there.
