Hello partners
I got a 19 year model 2500 6.7 that I recently leveled ( new spring and shocks with reservoirs)
I will be towing my travel trailer( right under 9000 lbs with all my stuff in it) from lake Charles LA to Robinson IL I got a WDH and 2 sway bars set . I had tow that trailer when it was stock did not sag and only connected the sway bars not the weight distribution part of the hitch set
Now since I’m leveled and with 35 tires I will use all the options of that WDH ( husky)
Q: have y’all towed after leveling and much did it change from stock

I leveled my 2015 Cummins 2500 with 2" Thuren coils. Even with a weight distribution hitch it sagged in the back when I hooked up my 8000lb travel trailer. I ended up installing air bags in the back and about 20lbs of pressure had me towing level again. Drove me crazy with the back end squatting.

I did still use the weight distribution hitch with sway control. It took some experimenting but I found the right pressure to air them up first and then set up the hitch. That way there was still pressure on the bars and I still had some sway control. Seemed to work pretty well and no issues towing.

I left my new truck stock. I like the looks of a leveled truck but stock is definitely more convenient and it tows level with a great ride.

I sold the diesel and bought a 2019 2500 with the Hemi. This one I'm leaving stock and it tows really well and is level with the trailer hooked up.

I think the airbags will work well for you and with a little tweaking you can get the truck and trailer level while still using your wdh.

not yet i’m fixing to tho
got me a 15inch drop shank
watched plenty of youtube how to set up the WDH the right way
pretty much get travel trailer level
i got +- 24 inch on top of the coupler
so i need to get my hitch ball at 25 inch or 24 and 3/4

then adjust the WD bars according to the hight of the coupler
and tilt the hitch toward the trailer by adding washers
