20 Inch Rims to 17 Inch Rims

Hello All,

When I bought my 2015 RAM 1500 I splurged and put some 20x10 (-18 offset) fuel beast rims on it with 275/65/20 BFG KO2's. They work great except for some very minor rubbing at full left turn in the cold months when the front drivers fender well lining shrinks up some... Also my truck has the bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks set at 2.1 in the front to get it just about level.

I am going to need tires for this coming winter and am thinking about going to a 17 inch rim so I can get more sidewall. I want to know who has had good luck with what 17 inch rims/spacing/tire combo so there is no rubbing and no issues with the rims fitting over the brakes. Pictures of your set up are encouraged because who doesn't like to see other bad ass trucks!

People are picking Ram Rebels 17" wheels. They came stock with 287/70/17
Size: 17x8 Lugs: 5 Bolt Pattern: 5.5 Inch Offset: 18.05mm

I went with fuel 18x9 (305/65/18) with Nitto's from stock 17's and Goodyear's. 2wd with 1.5" leveling spacers in front. No rub at anytime. I wanted to keep sidewall so that's why I didn't go 20's.

The inexpensive option is get 17x8" oem wheels from an older Ram and run 285/70r17 tires.

I have thought about that. Not a huge fan of the rebel rims myself. I suppose if I found some for the right price I'd go for it though.

17x9 pro comp series 45. -6 offset.

33x12.5x17. No rubbing.

Stock height but will be installing my Bils at 2.1 and down the road a 1.5 body lift
