Wondering what would be the best tires in snow/all terrain for stock 20 inch rims?

My tires at almost still have some tread on them but need to be replaced soon. I was wondering what would be the best tires for snow or all terrain on a 20 inch rim with stock suspension/rake. Tire size now is: 275/60R20 (RIDGESTONE)

Pretty sure everyone will agree on a single tire manufacturer…….
Now that was tongue in cheek. I was gonna suggest round ones, LOL. Since he said he liked jokes in his other post.

If you're driving a lot in winter conditions, perhaps look to 17" steel rims with dedicated winter tires.

Blizzak DM-V2's or Nokian Hakka's (as indicated above.

If you're looking for an all season 20" tire that has some snow prowess, look for ones with the winter snowflake rating.

Live in Wisconsin, so its not snowy all year round. Get snow usually in Late October, November, December, January, February, March.

You can air down for more traction in the snow if you have to. Please tell me into wheeling. Lol

It depends on what you do with your truck (daily muddier hunting buggy over lander)more you push your tires the more tire you need. If you’re not pushing it hard on the trails and most of your driving is on the road you can get away with a less aggressive approach

KO2's or Wildpeaks for an AT tire, as long as you know for to drive a 4wd in the snow they work great.

If you have to be out in the snow, all the time and have lots of ice get dedicated snows.

Like oil you will get many different opinions lol
Tires depend on use ! Do you Off Road ? if so a heavy duty tire is a must ( old school they were called 10 ply)
If a street queen like mine I went with COOPER AT3 4S tires..
On line like simple tire usually have good deals, so search local as well you may be surprised !

Blizzak DM-V2 hands down if you want a stock sized tire. Get a set of OE take-offs (17-18 preferable for a 4th gen but 20s are OK) and mount the snows on them. Get ATs or whatever floats your boat for the summer on your nice wheels. You will never be sorry.

I'm a big fan of the Toyo open country AT3. the P rated has 65k treadwear warranty, the LT has a 50k. Both are triple peak snow rated. I've run Toyos for years, and I tend to get about 75 to 80k miles out of them. IMHO great value

I've driven three 3PMS tires on my RAMs and they are worth half or less of actual snow tires in snow conditions. Granted, if I could only have one set of tires I would get 3PMS AT tires. But they are a compromise. They have to be, by definition. The requirements of cold, snowy conditions are as close to the exact opposite of hot, dry ones as you can imagine. There is no way for one tire to satisfy the ultimate requirement of both. It would be akin to the same vehicle providing the best MPG and greatest towing capacity. Simply ain't gonna happen. EVs notwithstanding.

I live in WI also and had the same questions. I went with Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT for my Sport, 275/60R20. So far I love them. With the little amount of snow we had, I'm not complaining, the handled great. They did good on ice and are quieter than my Discoverer HT on dry pavement. The only "con" is my wife complains they grab and throw everything up and gets my truck dirty. Time to get some fender flares.
