2011 SLT 4.7L V8 keeps switching to maual while driving.

My truck keeps switching to manual 4th gear while driving

Any codes show up? Have you scanned the computer for stored codes?

Yes, I have scanned for codes and there is only one for a o2 sensor.

On my 2012 there is a special tranny section for tranny codes. Is that where you looked?

Does your truck have a column lever with a rocker switch? Maybe the switch/wire inside is flaky??

What is the actual trouble code, it may be something like
p0700 through P0790

With Ram trucks, when the Transmission acts up, it goes into 4th gear, which is called Limp Mode

Limp mode is actually a safety measure that prevents the Dodge Ram 1500 from being driven if its computer detects a fault in the transmission. Engine speed will be reduced and the air conditioning or radio can be disabled. The "check engine light" will also be illuminated.
