I've got no experience with lowered rams. I know my '12 with my trailer, which has the axles set more to the rear has about 500-600lbs tongue weight empty after my suspension was well worn it would squat a little. I put a '08 ram 4.7 on the trailer forward once and was practically sitting on the bump stops and the fronts barely touching ground.. but that was probably 1500-2000lbs tongue weight(just a guess). Since then I put in stronger rear springs and a camper with a full load of water just levels the truck out (only lifts the front 1"), I use the WDH purely for anti-sway with the camper.

What's the rear axle rated for? 4,400 lbs? If you're over 2k you may very well be exceeding the rear axle weight rating. Springs won't fix that.
