2013 2500 remote start

So I tried, to research this, so I did use my alphaodb and turned my remote start, not working.. so looking into this more, do I need the hood latch with the switch, in order for it to work. Or any other things..

A 2013 (or 2014, not sure if the thread title or your profile is the correct year) does not have the remote start that you can just turn on like the 2017+ trucks. Trucks 2016 and earlier need a new RF Hub, a hood latch (or bypass ground wire) and new keyfobs along with the adjustments with AlphaOBD. @AllMoparParts.com sells a kit with everything you need (except Alpha, which you appear to have) for about $250.
