I started using my power inverter in my truck recently to power a fan for my pups. Its at 120v and 25.6 watts, so I know its a bit over the 115. The inverter was running the fan at full speed just fine for a few days and then my boyfriend sat in the passenger seat and the fan shut off. I had him get off the seat, unplug the fan and plug it back in and the fan ran. He sat down again and the fan shut off. I did replace the fuse for the fan and no difference. Could there be a setting somewhere I misses or could something be shorting out in the seat to the power inverter?
