2021 5.7 (not etorque) shut off while driving at low speed (20 mph) and will not restart. Had to be towed on flatbed to repair shop and the flat bed driver could not even get the wheels to turn (tried the manual released to put in neutral, did not work). Repair shop could not get any codes and truck will not respond to restart. The only thing that happens is dash will light up but no information or action. Now at dealer waiting for them to look at it. Has anyone had a similar issue

Sounds like its little computer brain died. Hope they can figure it out quickly.

If the manual release didn't work for letting the wheels roll, something is probably bound up in the transmission.

Or transfer case / rear end,but that would usually entail the tires locking up,and the truck skidding to a halt with some tire squealing, but the engine should restart

First thing to check would be a load test on the battery, and go from there

I agree, it is an electrical problem. Check the battery, I have found
OEM cables a bit loose one time when I checked the connections.
Of course the first repair shop checked that.
Good luck.

Thanks for your thoughts and comments
The first garage put a new battery in it and the dash would light up but nothing else would respond.
Truck is sitting at the dealer waiting for them to look at it since last week
