Hey guys, looking for some input from anyone familiar with the 2024 Ram 1500 eTorque.
I’ve been having an issue where the truck will stall out, but only under very specific conditions:
Voltage is around 13.4–13.5V
Auto start/stop is ON
I come to a stop, engine shuts off like normal
When I go to take off and it tries to restart, the truck completely dies
When it happens, everything goes dead for a split second — dash, lights, all of it — and the auto brake engages. I have to restart the truck manually after.
If I keep auto start/stop OFF, it doesn’t seem to happen.
I’ve already cleaned some grounds on the driver side, but haven’t gotten to the passenger side yet. No codes are showing either.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what ended up being the fix — battery, grounds, DC-DC converter, or something else?
Appreciate any insight before I start throwing parts at it.
