Those wheels bent easily as well. I bought a set of 20" Laramie wheels to use whenever I towed. Brought the payload up to around 1500 lbs.

Yea I remember when they came out there was so much talk of that and the lack of towing/weight use that most people ditched them. They worked so well we never saw them again shortly after haha!

Payload is everything you put in/on the truck after it rolls off the assembly line - fuel, passengers, running boards, tonneau, cooler full of beer, tool box, etc. - except 150# for the driver.

All fluids including fuel are calculated into the curb weight. Your beverage of choice in the cup holder however is not.

I imagine they would be similar. You would either need to reduce curb weight, or increase GVWR.
