2500 Diesel Fuel mileage when towing

I am new to the forum.
I am looking to replace my 2013 Toyota Tundra with a 2500 Diesel with a 3.42 rear axle. The travel trailer that I tow weighs about 8000lbs dry. What kind of fuel mileage should I expect from the 2500 when towing - some highway, some secondary roads, generally around 60mph?

Are you talking about a 2500 diesel 4th gen truck I assume? 2010-Current?

I am considering buying a 2016 RAM 2500 Diesel with a 3.42 rear axle ratio

My buddy gets about 11 towing his 32' 5th wheel trailer which is about 13K when loaded. His is a 2014 CTD, CCLB

My longest pull last week was 800 miles mostly hills and mountain passes, 10.2 mpg pulling 30ft toy hauler weighing roughly 10k.
