Had the 2in Mopar lift installed at dealer today. Got 35x12.5.20 tires on -18 offset 20x10 rims. American Trucks did the calculations. Dealer couldn't install new wheels saying tires rubbed with steering wheel half turned ( 180 ). Anyone have any ideas what to do or what I need? Will be dealing with American Trucks in am.
Thanks in advance

100% it will rub. A 20x9 +12 is the wheel you’ll need for only minor rubbing the plastic guard.

However going to the dealer and trusting a company that doesn’t specialize in wheels you’re 2 for 2 on what not to do

So should have stuck with stock rims with smaller tires?

Quickshifter can correct, but there are several members running 35's on stock rims with 2-2.5 inches of front lift

You need different wheels...that negative offset and a 10" wide wheel is the problem. Many members can run 35's on stock wheels because the wheels are more narrow and the positive offset.

I'm running the stock 20x9 factory rims with LT295/65R20 (Equivalent to 35's) tires and zero rub.

I do however have 5100's on all four corners on the stock springs with the fronts set to 2.1" raised.

A 5th Gen can clear a 35” on a 2” lift factory wheel under 11.5” wide aftermarket wheel is a 9” wide wheel with a +12 offset max that will clear a 35x12.5” tire. I’ve done triple digit installs on these trucks. With a lot of experimenting with mix and matching

So would I be better using the stock rims and 35x11.5x20's?

So I should use the factory 20x9 wheels and 35x11.5x20 tire?
