Hemi 5.7 eTorque
So came across a 2020 Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab with the 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT eTorque. I have a 2017 5.7 which has been good to me but just noticed some paint bubble with a little rust seeping out. So, time to move on from her. I had not been keeping up with the eTorque and curious the feeling now that this one will be 2 1/2 years old with 27K miles. I also bought my 2017 with the same mileage and same age.
I do not tow often but on occasion I do move something one way and my current 5.7 has been great. So I just want to have the ability to pull on occasion if necessary but will not be buying a travel trailer in the near future. My 20 Aluminum bass boat 150HP outboard isn't even noticeable now.

Thanks in advance!

I have had my used 2020 with etorque for a about a year with 40,000. No issues. Seems to pull my trailers the same as my 2014 did.

Purchased a '22 e-torque in Jan '23. Had 23 miles on it and now has 32k miles. No issues as of now, towing is just as strong as my 14 RAM but it does squat more with the exact same load on it lol.

I had a 2017 Hemi and purchased a used 2020 hemi eTorque and honestly think is feels slightly better towing. I did notice my hitch is about 2" lower than my 2017 so don't need my drop hitch for my boat anymore. The 2020 is much quieter and of course start stop at stop lights. But barely even notice it if you have the radio. I will not say eTorque was a huge improvement in gas mileage for all the additional equipment it involves but I have no concerns over reliability.

Etorque already has a recall and a new investigation by NHTSA for engine failures and this is beyond the recall.
