Choice of HEMI engine oil

Just got my used 2016 1500. Looking to do an oil change. I typically just use a name brand high mileage oil. I’ve used royal purple in the past with my lancer and was wondering if this is an Ok choice for the hemi?

To summarize what the Brain-Trust of our Great Forum have culminated over years of hands-on research....

Use the Royal Purple 20-820 oil filter... although this is proving more difficult in today's climate as they are being astronomically priced out of use... and supply!

So, revert to the Fram-XG2 oil filter...

As for oil.... Red Line High Performance 5W30 or High Performance Lubricants Super Car 0W30 are top tier synthetic oils that help our inherently flawed HEMI engines.

Failing this oil, as it is not inexpensive to purchase, look to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W30 synthetic with a 15oz bottle of Bio/Tech Luge/Gard additive put in at every oil change interval.
