Transplanted my RAM bed divider from my old Gen 4 to my new Gen 5. Fitment was a bit snug but not too tight to work. The straps that lock into the tailgate require manually locking each side in, versus pushing them into place, but they work nonetheless. There’re no pre marked spots like on the gen 4 to drill. You’ll have to measure 10 times, mark your holes and commit to drill. Definitely not worth dropping another $350 for a gen 5 version if you already have a gen 4.

To be clear, that's an AMP bed divider made for Ram. It's not a Ram (Mopar) part. Good to know it fits though, thanks for the info. I had one of these in the 2017 Rebel I used to own. I was thinking of seeing if it would transfer when I bought my first 5th gen but then I just decided to get the Rambox option and use the bed divider that works with that.

That's right, I recall AMP made these now that you mention it. I bought this one eight years ago when I purchased my 2016 Sport. It's still intact and used a lot. I also have a Gator FX tonneau cover on the way to enclose it all.

I was under the impression that AMP called that a Bed Extender

There is another Brand, it looks similar to the AMP Bed Extender
it is made of aluminum
sold by Home Depot
Company making them is VEVOR
for those that need something, but don't want to spend more than they have to

It's all semantics. Who cares what they're calling it. It can be used as a bed extender when flipped over the tailgate, and a bed divider when flipped into the bed. In the OP's first pic it's being used as a bed extender, and in the second and third pics it's being used as a bed divider.

I use it both ways. Primarily as a divider though. So I just refer to it that way. I throw everything back there when we shop. Doing so saves my interior too.
