See my previous thread for reasons why
Truck has zero transmission fluid in it.
I'm going to have it flatbed towed (or at the very least dolly towed so all 4 wheels are off the ground) to the shop.
I will put the old transmission pan on finger tight to keep out dirt while its being towed. I have a new pan for the shop to put on.
So, just in neutral from the transmission lever? Or neutral in the transfer case buttons?
I'm looking in the manual, but this is different situation because of no transmission fluid.
Mixed messages from internet if truck is ok to be started without tranny fluid. I'm going with NO.
I still have to push it out of garage 25 feet-I assume this will be ok.
Thanks
Trevor
