Want to wire lights in my grille to come on with key power anyone tell me how ?

how do you have your cigarette lighter wired up ?
i would put a "addafuse" in that slot, if you have it in the "key on" slot

Back in my day. Sorry was feeling old. Seriously though, back in my 20s when cars didn’t have all this electronic stuff, we would just be able to splice a marker light right into the parking lights. Literally shave some insulation on the pos and neg parking lamp wires , wrap the wire of the light I was adding to the exposed wire and some black tape and done. I wish it was still that simple but this canbus stuff really makes it more complicated for me at least. Relays and all that stuff. If it was as easy now as tapping a wire, I would add a bunch of lighting on the outside.

You can use a add a fuse to any system that comes on with the key. If you dont want to use the cigarette lighter fuse

It’s literally as easy as tapping a wire and adding a relay. Takes like 2 minutes longer and $5.

Makes sure you know what circuit/fuse combo you need. There are a bunch of different sizes/types. It's not one-size-fits-all like "the old days".

I did this to mine, but I tapped into the parking lights.
