Long story but my neighbor has a 2022 RAM 2500 with the diesel.

He wants to flat two it behind an RV.

I am trying to order the correct flat tow braking system for him.

Pulled one up ... Roadmaster part number RM-8700

Said it is compatible with all 2500's including diesel ... great!

Then I read the small print .... compatible with air brakes, hydraulic brakes, power assist brakes ... "NOTE compatible with vehicles with non-electric hydroboost braking systems"

OK ... I had a motor home way back that used a belt driven pump for the hydro brakes and I am thinking that is what they are talking about but I pulled up the hydro booster for this truck and I don't even see how it is drive. It seems to be part of the master cylinder. Is it electric ... or ??????

Just want to make sure we are ordering the right item.

Thanks!
