If this is the wrong area, please move.

If you had input into design elements of what you'd like to see in the Ram trucks, what would you do?

I think the 4th Gen style has a tough look, but I also think the 5th Gen has some nice elements in it's design too.

Curious to see what folks thoughts are.

Wishful thinking but I would like to see the 2019 Classic with a NA 426 Hemi option. Only reason I could fathom that would make me get rid of my 2016 for a newer Ram. However I would much rather see a drop in crate option for a NA 426 for my 2016. I know with the short stroke of the new 426 is better suited for boost but would think the NA version would still put out over 500HP NA.

I would like to see them make a line of “old school” trucks that aren’t so electronically busy, there’s something like fifteen computers running on the current trucks controlling everything, can’t even change out a relay anymore. It’s getting to the point of no return where the average mechanically inclined individual can’t work on their own truck. We (the few of us left that like to work on our own stuff) are slowly being FORCED to pay to have our vehicles fixed and a lot of people, including myself, do not like the way automakers are making said vehicles. I like your thinking, but was more oriented towards design elements of exterior. I'd love to see a NA 6.2L Hemi or 426 Hemi in a 1/2 ton for sure.

This^^^ I wish the only computer on my truck ran the fuel injection and transmission no need for anything else, keep it simple stupid.

These trucks would cost alot less and have far fewer problems.

4th Gen body style is good with me, bring back the suicide doors instead of the 4 doors.
Solid front axle with spindle bearings and locking hubs, leaf springs all around for 2500 and 3500's.
Lose 99% of all the computer controlled crap, lose the CANBUS monitoring of the lights.
Lose the knob shifters.
Give us lock option for the transfer case.
Lose the custom axle assemblies and go back to an off the shelf Dana 60.

To sum it up, give us the mechanicals of the late 70's with the 4th gen body and suicide rear doors! LOL

Shorter front bumper protrusion on the 1500 4th gens.

A 4BT cummins in the 1500 instead of the ecodiesel

1500 solid front axle

4th gen 1500 mega cab

The 2500 dual axle truck (T-Rex)

That’s just to list a few

As much as I love my EcoDiesel I would definitely prefer a Cummins.

I would love to see a real Ram Air Hood setup like I had on my ‘69 Super Bee. One that would work with the dual scoop sport hood.

Factory wheel to wheel steps that fold up under the cab like the aftermarket style.

Factory steps in the rear bumper corners like the Chevrolet’s.

I would like to see the vertical fog lights on my 2018 go back to horizontal like my 2012 was! Much better looking in my opinion.

I would like to see a cargo camera built into the third brake light as standard equipment! I would like to have the cargo lights in that same housing be LED and be vertically adjustable to use for lighting past the bed if needed.

What I would call a 'heavy half'. Basically a 1500 with some 2500 features. For those of us who would like some more cargo capacity, heavier features, oem auxiliary switches, etc. but not have a truck that is so high off the ground.

I feel like mines a heavy half now.

TuffTruck 1211 springs 50% stronger than stock
Hellwig sway bar
Timber grove airbags
Bilstien shocks on all 4
E rated tires.
Mag-Hytec diff cover that holds 4 quarts and cools better.
:)

I'll keep it simple.

Tailgate assist - should be standard on all pick ups these days
LED lightning (Everything inside and outside)
one touch roll up windows for all 4 doors
Rear Seat USB charging ports

I think these trucks are well built and thought out. I have friends that have other manufactures and it's funny to see how far behind they are.

The Nissan Titan I rode in last night - felt like a pile of crap. LOVE MY RAM!

Holds more fluid - makes more agitation and makes your gears hotter actually.

Search Banks diff covers on youtube for his recent test and promoted his new diff cover that actually works.

IMO he has not proven that my cover will cause any of that and I have not heard of failures related to a cover like mine that is not squared off on the inside like he states they are.

Mr Banks is a great salesman and thats all those vifs are about.

Wider body around the wheels so they're like having the pocket flares without the stick on parts. Taller headlights so that weird gap isn't there. A little more dip in the fenders to get back that ram big rig style a bit more. Body colour power folding tow mirrors.
