I’m really happy with it. The install was a little more time consuming than I thought it would be because all the YouTube videos for Ram 2500 bumper removal/install are for non Power Wagon models. Regular models just have the bumper brackets bolted in from what I’ve seen, but in the PW the winch cradle has to be removed and there are welds on the inside that have to be cut off. It took me a while to figure that out.
Luckily I was able to make the factory fog lights fit with a little modification and bracket making. I like the look a lot better than cube lights, and can run the fog lights without blinding people. The website says to get a 30” single row straight or curved light bar for the center cut out, but that should be changed. I got a 30” single row straight and it looked ridiculously sunk in and too thin to fill the opening. I replaced it with a 30” double curved bar and it looks perfect.
The cutting of the plastic wheel well liners requires bit of artistic interpretation because there are no instructions, but luckily I cut them in a nice/clean looking way. Needless to say the approach angle is alot better and it looks pretty mean!

Thanks for this posting - I hadn't found Chassis Unlimited yet. Most other brands will fit generic Rams, but specifically not for the PW. These guys are making PW-specific gear and their rear bumper with dual swingouts is exactly what I've been looking for to get my 37" spare out of the bed.
Your truck looks awesome - great job.

Another bonus is that it’s high quality name brand, but cheaper than pretty much all other brands.

Awesome! I have the same bumper and I went through a lot of what you did i.e. winch bracket, inner fender liners. I went with a straight light bar and the dip in didn't bother me but I get what your saying. I went with the 4 x 3" light cubes and they are kind of a pain getting them lined up and tightened down. I took my PW to Telluride and ran Engineer pass and having that approach angle changes everything when 4 Wheeling. Congrats!

Do you have any pictures of your installation process? I am currently stuck on the winch cradle removal and do not know what inside welds need to be cut off. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, I used a cutoff wheel to cut the strip welded on both sides of the cradle.

Copy! That needs to be cut first in order to remove the bumper?

There is a bracket on the end of each frame rail that the bumper bolts to. I’m fairly certain that a normal 2500 just has these brackets bolted on, but as I found out (and you’ve discovered) the power wagon’s brackets are welded as well (assume for extra winch support). You can remove the bumper from those brackets (I think it’s 4 bolts each). There are videos on YouTube showing the removal of a normal ram 2500 bumper, but the PW just has the extra welding on the 2 bumper brackets to deal with.

When I was shopping for bumpers for my truck, I showed my wife one that had the shackles on it like this one

She took one look at it and said "those things look like nipple piercings"

And now, I can't unsee it

Yeah I removed the 4 mounting bolts and the tow hooks then got stuck for way too long trying to figure out what I was missing. Thank goodness I came across your post. Sincerly appreciate your help.

Glad to help. Also, spray the weld areas that you cut/grind afterwards with some black spray paint to prevent rust.
