*SOLVED*
It was the starter, replaced it, not a single sign of the issue, thanks to everyone for their input and advice.

(I waited a few weeks to post here, to evaluate the situation.)

And JUST THINK! A simple oscilloscope test would likely have pointed that out in mere seconds!
