Injectors can make some clicking noise as well.Get a mechanics stethoscope in there and pinpoint where the noise is coming from.My injectors were making a "clicking type rattle" a while back.I dumped a bottle of redline fuel treatment in and it shut them right up.

My 2019 classic have 28.500 km and is making rattle noise ,some kind of light knock ,not when is cold but after drive and the engine is hot,I am using 5w20 shell rotella full synthetic oil and fram xg ultra synthetic filter, the oil is change every 9.000 km ,so I dont know if this is something to be worry about it or not,no codes no nothing, runs perfect.

Had a 2013 5.7
Both the left and right lifters were fixed under extended warranty. 34k and 66k miles. Truck ran great just didn't like the noise during warm up.

Welcome to HEMI ownership bud. “HEMI tick” is normal, just try googling it and you’ll see how common it is and how everyone has conflicting diagnoses.it doesn’t hurt anything and don’t let someone tell you to put in hellcat lifters. They have the same part number as the 5.7 and are no different from what I’ve read and been told. Maybe they improved them? Idk. But definitely check your exhaust manifolds!

I have a 2018 Ram Bighorn with the 5.7L Hemi. On cool mornings or if the truck has been sitting a few days, the lifters are really noisy for 3-5 minutes until it’s warm. It only has 15,700 miles on it. This started happening after the 12,000 mile oil change. So it had fresh oil then, just had it changed again, and it’s still doing it. Oil level is good. Maybe time to go Ford or Chevy?

My 2019 is doing same or similar noise, not when is cold, but warm,it start right after first oil change, just change the oil recently and filter,no change,so now I am planning change the oil filter for mopar ,and if this wont quiet the thick, then I go to the dealer for the diagnostic.

I have 44k on my 2019, 5.7 hemi, and lost compression in the 8th cyclinder...being fix under warranty. Wondering now if I should go with something else.

I dont know what to say,I have the tick as well 2019 30.000km,very dissatisfied, dealer do the diagnosis and finde nothing wrong,I change the oil from full synthetic to conventional and the tick is down lake 80%,you use your judgment.
