2013 5.7 hemi, 180,000 miles. I change my oil every 1500-2500 miles now depending on when the lifter noise starts. I idle, a lot. During the hot NW FLORIDA summer 95% humidity I nap for about an hour in my A/C Ram about 3 times a week. I use a stick placed under the seat and pushed against the accelerator pedal. I will usually idle at 1200 rpm’s. This is based off of my Cummins days. My question is…”Is 1200 rpm’s enough for lifter lubrication for long napping idles?
