Looking to get headers for my 2015 dodge ram 1500 5.7, was told TSP was the way togo but the are very expensive, any advice on which headers are the best togo with, currently stock, would be my first performance mod. Hoping todo high flow cats, cat back exhaust, upgraded 6.4 intake manifold, and some cams with tune. Would the headers be the best mod to start with?

I got ARH headers on my 2500

Liked them, but for the price, i feel they should have included a block off plate and O2 harness extensiona

Do a search, I forget the brand but have seen recent posts about some affordable long tubes that members have had good results installing.
I have Stainless Works, been very happy with them, but as mentioned much debate on spending 2k-3k$ on headers.
Good luck with your upgrades & be sure to update the forum, I would be interested to see which brand you go with & your results.

The ebay headers have a fairly decent rep,if you buy the stainless versions. No way in hell should a set of headers cost $2,000+

If you think TSP is expensive....don't look at ARH or Stainless works

Hello, I had 2007 and 2009 with ARH on a 5.7. They are expensive, buy once cry once.
They fit perfectly and make my truck sound like a monster.
Mine did come with the O2 extensions.
My truck with headers was running lean. Hemi fever tune is the way to go.
I would buy gears to, 4.56 is the way to go.

If he has the 8 speed,3.92's are way more then adequate. The 8 speeds 4.71:1 first gear negates needing deeper then 3.92's unless you're running 37" tires or taller.
He'd benefit more with a higher stall convertor then gears
