Hi, About 3 months ago I purchased a 2019 Ram Classic crew cab 4X4 with the 5.7 HEMI and 3.21 gears. Bought it at a dealership for cash and trading in my rusty but trusty 2005 Dodge Ram Rumble Bee. Got the cash from selling my 2012 Charger Super Bee (Vortech supercharged 392 HEMI). The truck had about 80,200 miles on it and came with brand new tires, bed cover, factory spray in bed liner, sliding rear window, and running boards. As it is winter now, I haven't been able to do much to it, but I added Husky front & rear floor mats, a center console cover, and a dash cam system with front and rear cameras and GPS. I was amazed with all of the storage areas the truck has inside the cab. This spring I am thinking of making a few mods to it, like a catch can (already have), window tint, fender flares, and a cold air kit.
A question for the group: which is the best cold air kit for this truck?
This truck did not come with remote start, I have a copy of the original window sticker and none is listed. My key fobs do not have the remote start button. The other day I was walking to my truck, hitting the unlock button, but I guess I hit it a few times and although the truck unlocked it also started! I tried it again yesterday and it did the same thing! Is this normal? Not complaining, just happy. Next I'll try to lock the doors with the fob once I remote start it to prevent someone getting in it while I'm letting it warm up.
Thanks for listening,
Chuckster

Don't know ref the remote start. Sounds like previous owner may have installed aftermarket stuff and used original FOB and programmed it in, cause on a Normal RAM FOB, there is a "remote start" button, U do not hit unlock. U can go out there all day and hit unlock, and it will unlock truck not remote start.

Cold Air Kit not needed, yer truck gets more than enuf air. Now some PPL have ordered the slightly larger ED filter boxes, I personally not see a need. Wateva U do, do not put in any of them fancy/dancy oiled air filter kits. Cause all sorts of issues with MAF sensor.

Good luck on all yer mods.

The best cold air kit is the one you put back on the shelf and go take your wife out for ice cream with the cash

Hunt up the lower box from a 2500 with the 6.4 or the lower box from an Eco-Diesal,they're the same lower box,and are bigger then your stock airbox. The trucks already have a pretty decent cold air intake, and if you upgrade the lower box,not many after market CAI's will match it.
