I purchased a 2026 ram 1500 on Dec 1 2025.. 3 weeks later the front bumper had a bunch of chips in it… I had 1600 miles on it. The owner of the dealership told me it was normal. I said BS, the body shop manager came out and said it was a problem with the paint. They stripped it and repainted it. 3 weeks later doing the same thing. Supposedly they are contacting the factory and going to have someone come out … we will see.

seems fishy

If it wss completed by their bodyshop 3 weeks ago, and the issue is back they did a s**t job and you can tell you want it redone.NOW! OUT of sheer embarresment ,they should be redoing it.This is a RAM ,and you paid alot of coin. That is a joke they are sending a factory Rep out.
A monkey could do a better job with water colour paint. They did a very bad job.The only time we had a come back at the body shop I was employed at years ago ,is if we painted over rust without removing the rust . That is disgusting, but why should they put an effort into it . They arent going to treat you nice now you either paid cash or got a loan ,for your truck They got paid and made 20grand easy.Bring the truck back with a lawyers demand note, and tell them they are liable DEALERSHIPS DO NOT CARE.I worked at a Ford dealer in 2007.They actually would say outloud, they don't care.AND,it starts at the TOP,the boss at the dealership who shook your hand after you signed on the dotted line My Ram ds is 3years old and no rust yet.

Do you drive on a lot of unpaved roads? Back in the day I've personally seen some very new vehicles that were badly "gravel Rashed" from operating on secondary roads. One was so bad that about the only place that the paint wasn't chipped was inside the door frames and in the pickup bed.
There is always a lot more to the stone chip stories.
If it was just "bad paint" there would be a whole series of vehicles affected.

I only had the truck for 2 weeks and I only drive it on main roads… never been on gravel or dirt… it was before we had any snow, so no salt or sand either.. it was spread throughout the whole bumper
