My personal opinion (and my opinion only).... cab lights belong on a 3/4-1T truck. I've never liked them on 1500s. I associate them with big diesel trucks, but to each their own. If you like them, go for it.

For me, if it's required then yes. On most half ton trucks it's not required, so my vote is no. It's kind of like keeping your tow mirrors flipped up all the time. If that's what you like then more power to you.

I have the useless factory sunroof, could I use the switch to activate power to cab lights or even have it as an off on switch for them? I never use the sun roof which I would not need power to Thank You????

Cab lights run on the same switch as parking lights, no reason for them to have their own switch. If you buy the mopar cab light kit it will tell you where you need to tap into on your year/model.

hey dont knock it, that slant six is about the only reason i could afford it

of course, when that went, i had to put in a 360

which then spun a rod bearing, so now its a 408
she does allright

and i think ive washed her once, in the decade or so ive owned her
but i do let her get rained on, i guess that counts

No wonder it doesn't pick up the opposite sex,the majority of good looking girls usually prefer to ride in a clean toy :Big Laugh: :Big Laugh::Big Laugh:

My decoder ring doesn't quite align with what you said but I'll give it a shot anyhow.... :p

Anything is possible, but since you'll have to hack up a wiring harness to try and make it work, you'd be miles ahead to install a kit that taps into the factory wiring that allows those lights to turn on and off with the rest of the lights, as intended.
