Replace engine driven Rad. fan with electric?

It's a 2002 Dodge 1500, 5.9 Can it be done successfully? Which electric fan?

Not aware of any kit, you will need to build your own set up. What is happening with your current setup that you want to add a electric fan?

I don't want to add an electric fan. I want to replace the mechanical fan with an electrical fan if I can get one to move enough air to keep it cool.

Just find one that’s the biggest you can fit inside the fan shroud. Then decide if you want to use a thermostat switch or just manually activate it.

I used a Hayden cooling fan and thermostat setup. Worked well for me towing as also. Had to trailer my son's Toyota Sequoia about 60 miles and temp stayed at normal. I may add a backup later on.
