Should i paint these?

My Ram Brothers:

I have a 2018 Ram 1500, I am doing a few upgrades/mods and need your ideas. I have recently taken off the chrome clad on my wheels (I am not a chrome guy) to discover these beautiful aluminum wheels. My question is 2 part....I have seen this style before but I can't place where can you help me Identify them and should I clean and paint matte black or leave alone? Also the inset on the center cap is 74mm however every 74mm cap I try is loose, can you please link somewhere I can buy really nice center caps that fit?

I'd get them powdercoated. You can clean them all you want, but without a coating, the bare aluminum will look dingy all the time.

You'll probably need to machine a groove on the inside to hold the center cap on place. 74mm is pretty common.

If it were me, I'd buy some black wheel skins and center caps and be done with it. For your center caps, line the wheel opening with foil tape until the caps don't slip out.

I powdercoated mine when I had the 2016 Sport...turned out great!! I caught the new owner driving it into Dallas not long ago...

how the hell did you get the clap off haha, I tired one wheel, using every youtube video suggestions and gave up.

It took awhile, but I have power tools.... Seriously though, I broke the damn things off and used a scraper [metal] for the residual glue and plastic. Took me about four hours. The guy charged me $300 to bead blast then powdercoat in gloss black. That was a deal even back in 2019.

Where i live, there are several USED Tire & Wheel shops.
In my town alone, there are at least 4 of that kind of shops & that is not including the Foreign shops.

Then there are at least 50 or more Auto Dismantling Yards within 40 miles.

All of those places have wheels for every brand of vehicle

When i go to a auto junk yard for an ash tray, i also look for wheels & seats.

I would not strip the chrome cladding just to make a wheel
