Good morning, a few of us have moved our HK 10" sub to Skar 10" ported boxes which seems to work very well. My question is can we use the 12" box with a 10" adapter ring and have the same outcome? The 12" is a smaller box in length and height but it has a bigger port. I'll list specs below. I'm leaning toward trying the 12" box because it would fit under the rear seat better as its .6" smaller in height and doesn't extend pass the 60% portion of the seat.

I know I can get an aftermarket system but I don't want to delete my ANC, so this is the best situation for me. Our stock sub is 204w 6ohm 10"

The specs for the 12:

Port Width2.00"
Number of Ports1
Total Box Volume1.20 Cubic Ft
Number of Subwoofer Chambers1
Tuning Frequency of Enclosure38 Hz
Number of Terminal Cup Connections1
Enclosure External Dimensions
Depth17.50"
Height9.40"
Length36.00"

SPECS FOR THE 10"
Port Width4.00"
Number of Ports1
Total Box Volume1.41 Cubic Ft
Number of Subwoofer Chambers1
Tuning Frequency of Enclosure41 Hz
Number of Terminal Cup Connections1
Enclosure External Dimensions
Depth18.00"
Height10.00"
Length46.00"

That would mean the 12" box would be better. Its .2 smaller then the 10" box. I have it on the 10" box currently and it does sound good compared to stock box. The 12" box is sitting in my garage which will be tested tom.
