I have a 2500 2012 that has an odd fault only just after you start from cold. It has a Cummins Diesel engine and an RFE68 Auto trans.
When I first start up from cold and move forward or backward a few feet, when it comes to a halt it is just like a manual car trying to stop without the clutch being depressed, with extra pressure having to be put on the brake to bring it to a halt with jolt.
This only happens when the vehicle is cold. Drive a few miles and it is AOK or let it idle for a few minutes before starting off and it performs OK.
Anyone any ideas what could be at fault ?
