I have 2016 ram transmission will not engage after 4000rpm when accelerating to pass or climbs hills. Anyone having these issues. Will changing transmission fluid and filter resolve this issue

Hard to say, but it's certainly a good place to start.

REALLY hard to say from the limited info given. How many miles? Past service history? Any other problems aside from slipping - hard shifts? Changing fluid is a good place to start although unlikely to be a miracle cure. Before changing I'd definitely take a good look at the fluid. Burned and brown?

It’s had two services 156,000 miles no temperature increase transmission just will not grab going into passing gear or climbing hills. I definitely appreciate all the comments. I thought it was a good place to start also
