Has anyone ever tried to put a SRT motor in place of their 5.7 Hemi? I was talking with a guy who has a 392 challenger and he said it would be an easy swap. I don't know but I would love the horsepower!.....I figured if anyone knows, it would be someone on here!

Cleaned my vararam, made a new ground wire from the head to the frame, tightened all my header bolts since I recently installed long tubes. Developed a small tick yesterday. A few of the header bolts weren’t really loose but enough I could move them with a wrench. She’s sound again.

I removed the homemade tonneau cover I "handcrafted" from thin plywood last week from my '16 Reb. While it did its job, it's not really something I want to keep between the RamBoxes on a daily basis...it was purely functional (and fairly ugly)!

If I try this again, I think I'll go with what one guy over at the Toyota Tacoma forums did here and use 1-inch foam insulation instead of 15/32-inch ply since, well, size matters! The thin stuff I had on my rig warped under speed and rain and, obviously, gravity. His solution proved more durable and much classier.

I'm just glad I'm not the only who doubts technology sometimes...of course, I really have no excuse because I doubted both my sensors and the rearview camera; my reward was a tiny ding in the back bumper! Oh, well...now my truck has "character!"

Picked up my repaired truck from the dealership today. It is shifting smoother than it ever has while I've owned it so I'm thinking that valve body was on it's way out for quite a while now. Have to say I'm extremely pleased with the warranty service.

Not this week but recently.

Added the steering wheel bezel from a Laramie and had 15% Tint done all the way around

It’s the little things [emoji1362]
I’m also getting the windshield done with 80% ceramic and an eyebrow on Thursday. I’ll post pictures then

From the picture that doesn't look deep. Some compound and elbow grease might clean that up!

Does it just snap on? Why was it a PIA? I like that look!

Well I fought the air bag. If I had another set of hands or even a screwdriver that was just a touch longer it may have been a bit easier for me. And just figuring out which screws need to come out. The top panel of the steering column has to come off to get to the clips to get the air bag out, there’s a few screws behind the air bag itself that have to come out, there’s a few screws on the backside of the wheel that have to come out and then there’s a few screws that hold the steering wheel controls to the trim piece itself that have to come out.

For anyone interested:
