Thank you for spelling this out better than anyone else on any of the forums. I had done all of these steps except resetting the WIN Module. So all I had to do was that reset and viola working fobs. I knew they were programmed since they started the truck but was really getting frustrated that the doors weren't locking/unlocking. Now all I have to do is reset my aftermarket remote start so it recognizes the new fobs and I'll be able to start the truck now without using my phone. Although the phone is handy when you're in the store or at an event etc to get started and be cooling off or heating up the interior, but just not practical to use the phone for everyday use.Thank you WY-Dave. I had already read that post, it was helpful, but did not layout the procedure for my 2011 dodge ram 1500. I figured this out finally on my own, if anyone else has a 2011 dodge ram 1500 that did not come with a key fob factory and you have this kind of ignition View attachment 481789, this should work for you truck. As long has your vehicle has the WIN module already installed you can do this.
I purchased 2 remote keyless entry key fobs aftermarket on the internet.View attachment 481786 They were really cheap on Amazon ($30.00). I also purchased OBDLink MX+View attachment 481787 on Amazon ($119.00) and AlfaOBD App View attachment 481788 on google play ($49.00) for android. You will also need to go to the dealership parts department with your registration and license and request the 4-digit programming pin for your vehicle.
Insert a programmed key to the vehicle and turn it to the run position, but do not start the vehicle.
Insert the OBDLink MX+
Establish the link to the OBDLink MX+ via bluetooth with AlfaOBD.
In AlfaOBD do the following:
Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
Select: Radio Frequency HUB(RFH)
Select: Wireless Control Module (WCM) MY2011-12 non-PowerNet Var.1 (There were other versions that seemed to also work, but this is the one I used)
You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the WCM.
On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Program Ignition Keys or Key FOB's"
Insert the Key FOB you want to program into the ignition and turn it to the ON position, but do not start the vehicle.
Enter your 4-digit programming key and hit "START". Insert another key and do the same to program another.
After the keys are programmed, they should not be able to start the vehicle by putting them into the ignition. The buttons will not work though.
Now you need to go back to the main screen and get into the BCM, do the following:
Select: Body Computer
Select: Central Gateway Module MY2006-12 Non-PowerNet (This is what I used, I just went through the list until I found one that it would communicate with, it was this one for my truck)
You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the BCM.
On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Car Configuration Change"Select: Ram 1500 (DS/DX/DT)
On this same screen there is a "select option" drop down menu, select "Vehicle Config 2: RKE System Present"
On this same screen you will not have "select value" drown down menu, select "SET" and then click "START". You may have to do this twice, until it says it is now set to "SET".
Finally, we are at the last step. We need to go back to the main screen again and get back into the WCM. We need to reset the WIN module, do the following:
Select: Radio Frequency HUB(RFH)
Select: Wireless Control Module (WCM) MY2011-12 non-PowerNet Var.1 (There were other versions that seemed to also work, but this is the one I used)
You then have to click the "CONNECT" button. It will tell you if it has established a connection to the WCM.
On the bottom right of the screen on the AlfaOBD, there will be a little car icon with the hood open, click on it.
On the screen that opens you can select from the drop down "Reset WIN Configuration".
That's it, the buttons on your remote keyless entry should now be working!! Hope this helps those of you who have been trying to figure this out for the 2011 dodge ram 1500.
Link below for the parts I ordered. They also have an attached diy guide with step by step process in replacing the motor and gear. Simple swap to complete. You got a link to more info on this?

I wish I had the space in my small barn to keep something in the Reese. I like the bumper protection concept, not to mention the potential entertainment factor.
I keep a wood splitter behind my truck and the last time I forgot to pull the ball off, I made contact with the wood spliiter.
I would have paid money to watch the dude skewer his grill.
