Hello,
I am currently restoring an '82 W-150 with a 318-4 in California. Therefore smog visual and sniffer inspection will be undergone. I have provided the diagram that came with the truck inside the engine bay on the drivers side splash shield.
My question is: What is the "filtered air bleed" and what is its purpose? Is it a valve, if so then what might be a referenceable part no.? And finally, could I hardline it all and not have a "bleed"?
