As long as my wife and kid are doing better tonight (lack of sleep mixed with being sick the past couple nights) I might try to hit the track this evening or tomorrow with a few friends. One of my firends little brothers is coming along with his a 08 chevy 4 door with the 6.0 (?) that is basically stock except for exhaust and tuner. He has been talking a lot of **** since the day he got it cuase his truck is just the bst/fastest out there cause he beat all his friends trucks in light to light races. *******.... he heard my truck the other night while I was over there and said it sounded like **** and was choppy while his nice loud flowmaster sounded beautiful... I didn't have the heart to tell him that was called lope from a good size cam or that the cutout wasn't open.I'll just let him thnik what he wants to think for now.

Stupid Arkansas! There's no 1/4 mile tracks here! Only 1/4 mile dirt ovals, and a 1000 ft drag track. I gotta drive to Memphis (2+ hours) for the nearest 1/4 mile drag track. FML

Yeah here there is one about a half hour away that is full of douches andyou might get 2 maybe 3 runs in on the test and tune nights but then there is another one about an hour or so away that is dead on test and tune nights and you can basically get as many runs as you want in.

Depends, here you only need long pants for your average race, if you run nitrous or are under 13seconds you need a helmet that is race approved and a race approved jacket I believe. There are more rules the faster you go and depend if you are spraying it. Really it depends on the track. I think they all have to follow nhra guidelines but some have more rules than others.
