I have a 2014 RAM 1500 Midnight Express ( CC 4x4 ) with 115K miles on the truck. My OE suspension is tired and worn out. My truck will remain stock height, but I really want to improve the handling of my truck. I have a really fun twisty road on my commute to and from work and enjoy spirited driving. Below are the items I have questions on.

Rear Control Arms - is there any reason to upgrade them, other then maybe fresh bushings ?
Panhard Bar - at stock height is there a reason to upgrade this ?
Rear Sway Bar - Isnt the OE rear bar the same size as the Hellwig bar ?

I plan on upgrading the struts / shocks to Bilstein 4600's probably, or cheaper KYB MonoMax's. I plan on restoring / upgrading my front and rear end links / sway bar bushings.

Rear Control Arms - is there any reason to upgrade them, other then maybe fresh bushings ? Yes, the rear can show fatigue at miles as low as 60k. Suggest you look for popular replacement, even fixed length mevotec is better than stock.

Panhard Bar - at stock height is there a reason to upgrade this ? Same as above, although its probably secondary to rear control arms.

Rear Sway Bar - Isnt the OE rear bar the same size as the Hellwig bar ? Yes, but it's hollow. The Hellwig bar is greatly improved and solid. However as an alternative you could obtain a bar from a 2500 if a salvage yard is near.

If you want spirited driving. Invest in the proper equipment. Otherwise drive it like a truck not a sports car.

I did not know the 2500 rear sway bar was an upgrade for the 1500. Is it larger, or is it just a solid bar ?
