Have been fighting a issue that seems to be eps related to me. Apparently some places have problems aligning my truck due to length vs rack being a crew cab regular (6’4) box. Dealer preformed a alignment and said specs were all out of whack vs what my last sheet said from a alignment a month ago. Is this current alignment with the left toe being 0.00 and the right toe being 0.02 that big of a difference that would make the steering wheel more off center to the right? Thanks for the looks!

Both alignments look alright to me, to be honest. The steering wheel angle is purely dependent on how they set it when the put it on the rack, they just adjust each wheel to the desired toe after centering (or not) the wheel.

I noticed 0 difference in the steering wheel pretty much between both of these alignments. It seems like the eps try’s to overcompensate to me. I’m new to eps, I like the old style systems better!

Not likely eps related. No to the question on toe in. If the steering wheel's off center to the right, it's because the guy doing the alignment didn't center the wheel properly when setting toe. It could also be caused by a tire pull to the left. If the alignment doesn't stay within specs I would suspect a worn front end component. maybe have the dealer recheck it in the near future to verify.

Truck has 12,000 miles, dealer is honestly pretty damn good. Odd thing is the wheel was a hair to the left since new, alignment didn’t change anything. Somehow the intermediate steering shafts were deemed bad and replaced, after this the wheel was off to the right a hair with no alignment being done. Tires wear great, vehicle handles and tracks great. Just a odd phenomenon going on. When on the 3 lane highway to the left the wheel needs to be held to the right due to road crown, when switching to the far right lane where wheel should be held to the left due to road crown you can literally tell the eps tries to compensate physically. It’s weird, and annoying.
