Stop/go reactivation

Just bought 2013 ram 1500 sport 5.7 and previous owner had stop/go deactivated. Is there way in can reactivate myself or do I have to go to the dealer?

More then likely its a aftermarket eliminator you will have to google and see where it maybe be located and remove it

In 2013 it was only available on the HFE model which is a 3.6L, not a Hemi.

Canada got a few 5.7 HFE trucks in 13.I looked at one on a lot,as it was the first truck i'd seen with the hemi and 8 speed in a shortbox plain jane tradesmen.
There was a guy on another forum who had one with the hemi,and according to him,Chrsyler wanted to buy the truck back,as they weren't supposed to go to the US market

Why? It's not a miracle fuel saving option. It's mostly a way for auto manufacturers to meet emissions requirements and starter manufacturers to make money.

Thanks guys for your help. I went back into the manual and discovered that I don’t have a stop/gp dash button so my truck never had stop/go feature. Don’t know what seller was talking about.
