Leave out the insults...

You can come do my 21 Rebel 5th Gen. Cause AlphaODB can not, as @Jimmy07 said, Alexey is aware . Jscan does work.
Fyi there was no insults there. And yes alpha can do it and no I'm not coming to do yours for you. You can do it yourself. It's not that complicated kid

Correct. If it’s for android, you pair it like any other Bluetooth device. If it’s for iPhone, no pairing, just plug it in, open JScan and hit connect.
What’s the difference between the FD+ and the MC+ ?

Ok giving all this a try.
I see the photo of the connected security bypass cable with 3 red connectors .

I see a large obd connector in the panel near your left knee. When i drop that panel i see no small square connection points for the 2 small sq connectors.

Ive attached a pic of my removed or lowered panel.
Can anyone kindly tell me where the small red connectors go?

Look up above the red arrow. No need to drop the knee panel.

Are the connection points in this pic, behind the knee panel in a 2024 1500 dt?

(Jimmy you can pm me, if it's better not to tie up this thread.)

First 45 seconds of this video shows the connectors, and the gateway they were plugged into. The gateway ports face straight down towards the floor.

Ok the cable plugs are a challenge but doable.

Can't tell from this thread, but based on the lack of questions, could it be that Jimmy is the only one here who has figured how to do it with vlinker and jscan?

I've attached jscan's instructions, but found a few puzzles.

- for the "active diagnostic variant" do we use rfh or wcm and where is this selected?

- under adaptations, i couldn't find pin reading or fob programing or anything similar.

-jscan talks about turning the key to run. Is there an instruction for the keyless ignition?

If i remember right, someone in this thread said they might be willing to write out step by step directions for programing. I think that without that, the chances for success are fairly low except for tech geniuses.

(Maybe jscan has something close but gaps need filling)

Jimmy's steps work perfectly.
This is the holy grail!!
Thank you!
Thank you!

The instructions were clear to me until I got to pressing start/stop and unlock.

Would it be more clear to say this after the pin is entered...

- Press and hold the ignition start/stop button with finger (? Is your finger ok)

- While depressing start/stop with one hand, using your other hand, press and release the new Fobic unlock button once per second until the app says "programming successful."
......
Maybe it's just me, but i found the part about using the keyfob to hold down the start/stop, and at the same time pressing unlock once per second, a little hard to follow,..... (Unless it is necessary to do exactly that.)

Again, thanks.

That’s kind of why I wrote in there “pressing unlock button will not be performed”, and to just press the ignition button with the fob. It’s just one less unnecessary step.

Jimmy has a good video showing the location of the 2 cables to connect/disconnect under the dash.
A word to the wise, they have nearly invisible clips to squeeze. The clip is on the left side of the truck when you attempt to remove them.
You're likely to cuss.

Those same clips will lock your red temp cables in place so even though hard to see, you release them the same way.
