I’m replacing the fuel lines on my 85 W250. Ther are 2 lines off the tank that connect to a charcoal filter. Unfortunately my air pump is locked up. Since the tank has a vent hose, do I even need the filter? If not, What do I do with the lines?

Is that truck carbureted ?

The charcoal canister allows fuel to expand out of the carb and evaporate into the charcoal in a way that won't have your garage smelling like Gass the next day

yes, it’s carbureted. Trying to determine if I could just plug one hole and put an inline vent on the other. If that won’t work, will I have to get a new air pump for the charcoal canister to work? Thanks for the help.
