Hello everyone, I just replaced the timing chain on my 4.7 1500. I pulled the pins and cranked it around a couple times but the chain is still pretty lose on the bottom portion of the chain. Just wondering if this is common or if there is something wrong that I did that anyone can think of of. Thanks a bunch.

First off are we talking the main chain down below? if so should be little to no slack at all. If your talking the upper chains Did you run the engine yet? it wont be as tight until it has oil pressure and the tensioners push out from oil pressure.
