I only have 20k on this truck , a spine injury has limted me to driving it the last 2 yrs
It seems to me I have a very soft brake pedal as i am driving it more these days.
Was going to throw a set of rotors and pads on the front.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
If the rotors look good and aren't warped, leave em. New pads will often firm up the pedal, but I'd go through and flush the brake fluid first. It's a decent idea to do it every 2 years anyway as the fluid does degrade and attract water over time.
I was just gonna say this exact same thing. Go to a shop and have them do a brake fluid exchange. Get yourself some higher quality brake fluid. Could even be a small small leak allowing air into the system allowing fluid to creep back to the reservoir.
